Deepak Choudhary

I'm pursuing M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Aalto University. I'm specializing in Networked Systems.

Previously, I spent 2.5 years as a Research Assistant at Centre for Networked Intelligence (CNI), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), working with Prof. T. V. Prabhakar and Prof. Chandramani Singh. My work was on leveraging programmable data planes to implement a Time Sensitive Networking switch. While at CNI IISc, I made significant contributions to build P4TSN, a P4-programmable TSN switch for networks with bounded latency, ultra reliability and precise synchronization requirements. I also contributed towards developing an intercity testbed (~ 400 kilometres) between IISc Bangalore and IITM Research Park, Chennai to test haptic robotic teleoperation. I graduated with a Bachelor's (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in 2021 with a CGPA of 9.10/10.
